Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards for using the Assetlem platform and services. This policy applies to all users and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions. By using Assetlem, you agree to comply with this AUP.
Assetlem reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this policy, including without limitation, removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
1. Lawful Use Only
You must use Assetlem only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use our platform to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Engage in any activity that is fraudulent, false, or misleading
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Violate the privacy rights of any individual
- Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal financial activities
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Assetlem platform:
2.1 System Integrity
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Assetlem systems, networks, or user accounts
- Conducting vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or security assessments without prior written consent
- Uploading, transmitting, or distributing malware, viruses, Trojan horses, or other harmful code
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
- Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features of the platform
2.2 Abuse and Interference
- Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
- Sending spam, unsolicited bulk communications, or engaging in phishing activities
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or suspensions
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the platform
- Attempting to overload our infrastructure through denial-of-service attacks
2.3 Data and Content
- Storing, transmitting, or sharing content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Processing personal data in violation of applicable data protection laws
- Storing sensitive regulated data (e.g., payment card data, protected health information) without appropriate safeguards
- Impersonating any person, organization, or entity
2.4 Commercial Restrictions
- Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercializing access to the platform without written permission
- Using the platform to build a competing product or service
- Benchmarking the platform for public release without prior consent
3. Responsible Use
You are expected to:
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately if you become aware of any security breach or unauthorized use
- Ensure that all team members with access to your account comply with this AUP
- Use the platform only for its intended purpose of digital asset management
- Cooperate with any security investigation we conduct
4. Resource Usage
You agree not to use Assetlem resources in a way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure. We reserve the right to limit usage that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be excessive.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP or any security vulnerability in our platform, please report it immediately to support@assetlem.io. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Removal of violating content
- Warning notices
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of account without refund
- Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities
- Legal action where permitted by applicable law
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
